If you can come early and help set things up, contact Patty Yunk at (414) 218 129
If you can bring a camera for photos or video - please do so. We can live stream on Facebook.
Don't forget to bring a sign. Remind Sen. Johnson that Seniors outvote every other group.
If you have trouble walking or standing more than a few minutes, please bring a walker or wheelchair so you are comfortable. We will try to have a few folding chairs available.
Action 2: Participate in WISDOM's Madison Day of Action.
Activists from across the state will be joining with MICAH and other affiliates of WISDOM in Wisconsin in a day of networking and lobbying our legislators. WISDOM organizations will be focusing on issues of justice and the proposed budget but we will also be lobbying legislators to
- stop wasting taxpayer dollars to defend unconstitutional electoral maps;
- draw new and fair districts NOW, as the trial court in Whitford v Gill has mandated;
- support pending legislation to make Wisconsin's redistricting process nonpartisan.
