Join WISDOM and Grassroots North Shore for a Madison Day of Action

Activists from across the state will be joining with MICAH and other affiliates of WISDOM in Wisconsin in a day of networking and lobbying our legislatures. WISDOM organizations will be focusing on issues of justice and the proposed budget but we will also be lobbying legislators to

• stop wasting taxpayer dollars to defend unconstitutional electoral maps;
• draw new and fair districts NOW, as the trial court in Whitford v Gill has mandated;
• support Senate Bill 13 and Assembly Bill 44 to make Wisconsin's redistricting process nonpartisan.

Before we head to legislative offices, we will have a chance to network and to discuss our issues with participants from other organizations. Organizers will provide participants with information and talking points to help frame the issues with your legislators. 

Tickets to the event cost $25, which pays for lunch and materials, and can be purchased online or by check. 

MICAH buses will be leaving leaving from Milwaukee Enterprise Bldg, 2821 N. 4^th St, Milwaukee, at 7:20am and will be returning around 6pm. Or you can drive yourself or organize into car pools. After you sign up with WISDOM, you will need to notify MICAH if you want to ride the bus.

Please RSVP here to let us know that you want to participate, but you MUST register with WISDOM by as soon as possible but no later than March 24 so that both lunch and materials will be reserved for you.
