Bridge Building Voter Outreach

This event has been canceled.

Keep an out for our More Appropriate for Winter event, where we hope to have some fun as we build a solid team of trained volunteers.

SPEND A DAY GETTING TO KNOW V0TERS – AND BRING A FRIEND!

Help make 2018 the year Wisconsin turns the tide of right-wing election wins!

On Saturday, February 24, Grassroots North Shore will train people in BRIDGE BUILDING VOTER OUTREACH. Learn how to talk to voters and – more importantly – learn how to listen to them. We’ll get some training, we’ll get comfortable by role playing, we’ll get into the field to talk to voters, and we’ll close with social debriefing time. If you can, bring a friend. We use the buddy system in our walks/drives, and the more folks we train the more buddies we get out into the community.

This training will help you in any neighborhood. In this session, we will focus on three Wisconsin Assembly districts: 23, 24, and 60, and will walk/drive neighborhoods in Ozaukee County.

After you are trained, we hope you will commit to doing more Bridge Building Conversations, either with the friend you brought or with a new friend you meet that day.
