Our least favorite US Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, admitted that "extreme partisan gerrymandering is a real problem for our democracy." Help us convince the Joint Finance Committee that Wisconsin's extreme partisan gerrymander has got to go. Governor Evers' budget allocation for nonpartisan redistricting reform is just what's needed to stop our politicians from choosing their own voters and make sure voters get to choose their political representatives when Wisconsin redraws our electoral maps in 2021.

Also at stake is the fate of BadgerCare expansion. Grassroots North Shore has made both issues a priority for our supporters this year. So we urge everyone who can to attend one or more of the four Joint Finance Committee public hearings that will take place around the state in April. Support for these two causes at these hearings can take two forms: 1) signing up to speak to the issue; and 2) standing to show support for other speakers addressing the issue. They officially start at 10am and go until 5pm, but most people arrive at 8:30 in order to sign up to speak.
