John Nichols — the Voice of the Wisconsin Resistance, national-affairs correspondent for The Nation, the associate editor of the Capital Times, and a national treasure — will get us charged up and engaged in the 2018 campaign with his talk titled "How We Win."
Grassroots North Shore is the largest, all-volunteer, grassroots organization in the state. This event is our annual fundraiser, the only one we hold each year. Our needs are simple. We need to maintain our office and to communicate with our supporters. Please, support our mission to inform, educate, and advocate for progressive change and solutions. With the exception of our annual fundraiser, all events are free and open to the public. Last month we held a Governor's Forum attended by over 250 people. Help us continue this kind of programming.
Admission starts at a basic level of $20. Don't stop there, contribute at higher levels of funding and become a sustaining member. A donation of $100 or more will include a year's membership in Grassroots North Shore and will also buy our undying gratitude!
Come hungry! Food trucks will be available starting at 5pm. And while you eat you can enjoy the company and good conversations with our great activists and fellow progressives.
