PARKING: There is a large garage nearby – Grand Ave. Mall iParkit Garage, 615 N. 2 nd
St. Others in the area as well.

Weather – It will be COLD. Please dress accordingly. Plan to be outside for an hour (though the rally may be shorter).

PLACE TO WARM UP: The food court for the mall is across the street if you need to
go inside to warm up.

There will be hand warmers available, and bullhorns so everyone can hear the speakers.

Speakers will include – Cheryl Maranto, co-chair GRNS; LuAnn Bird, Bird on a Wire &
PERSISTers; working on a representative from the American Federation of Government
Employees; a federal employee.

WHAT TO BRING: Attendees are encouraged to bring signs – We love our federal
workers; why we value the services that they provide us. (We encourage positive
messages).

You can bring Valentines/thank you notes addressed to "federal worker" if you’d like. We can
deliver them to the federal government offices in the building following the rally.
