Grassroots North Shore, in conjunction with Supermarket Legends, will provide a shuttle service to and from the Zeidler Office Building/City Hall on the two Wednesdays of early voting, March 23 and March 30, between 5 and 7 pm.

With the loss of Sunday voting/Souls to the Polls, this provides an alternative for urban congregation members to get to the polls. This is especially important this year with Easter travel and spring break calling many people out of town on Election Day (April 5). This election is an important one with Wisconsin Supreme Court justice, Milwaukee mayor, county executive, aldermen, and county supervisors on the ballot, along with the presidential primary. 

Please indicate below which dates you can work. Then email Bruce Brewer, using the subject line "Deliver the Vote," or phone him at 414-247-1139. In your email, please include how many passengers you can fit in your vehicle. Larger vehicles (vans and minivans) are preferred.

We anticipate that each driver will make two runs each Wednesday evening. We will allocate our volunteer drivers on a first-come first-served basis. The last day churches can request the shuttle service is March 16.
