We have an urgent need for phone bankers ahead of the Mequon-Thiensville recall election on November 2, 2021. We will be calling friendlies, but most of the time you will be leaving messages. We have close to 6,000 names and numbers to call. So we really need all hands on deck! 

After you sign up, one of the organizers will send you three things:

• Some instructions
• A pdf with the names and phone numbers you are to call (remember to include the area code for every call!)
• A script

You will also receive a confirmation email from Grassroots North Shore. It may have November 22 at 8pm as the date and time of the phonebank. IGNORE IT! You will be calling from your own phone on your own time. (Don't forget that you will need to include the area code for every number you dial!)

The recall has been organized by a far-right fringe with support from the Republican Party of Wisconsin, the Republican Party of Ozaukee County, the Patriots of Ozaukee County, and individuals like Rebecca Kleefisch, a Republican candidate for WI governor. School boards are nonpartisan bodies and need to stay that way. We have to prevent this kind of hostile takeover of MTSD.
