At this Workshop we will summarize some of what we learned from attending a One Million Rising training session, organized by the groups behind the No Kings rallies. The trainers described how Trump and his would-be authoritarian regime have worked to take over the “pillars of support” that support political leaders.

One of those pillars is the Military / Police: we're calling that pillar "The Feds." We are witnessing often-masked federal forces — including military units, ICE and other federal agents snatching people off the streets and out of courthouses — act with impunity. We have seen what they have done in California and Chicago.

Former US Attorney James Santelle will explain our rights when we are protesting, accompanying immigrants to ICE/court hearings, or tracking ICE or other federal activities. His guidance can help keep us safe in the months to come.
