Here's some information to help you get there.

PARKING:

1. There is a lot at 1859 N. 40th street;
   
   
2. a lot at the pool building which is 40th and Galena;
   
   
3. the senior center parking lot which is accessed off Vliet Street or Olmsted Blvd;
   
   
4. some limited parking spaces on both 40th Street and Vliet, but on a Saturday, availability might be limited;
   
   
5. a large lot at 5225 W Vliet. But it’s 6+ blocks away.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION — Washington Park is accessible by Milwaukee County Transit System buses:

1. Route 33: from downtown Milwaukee travels west and from West Allis travels northeast; this route stops on Vliet Street and Highland Blvd, at the southern edge of the Park;
   
   
2. Route 30: from east side and downtown Milwaukee travels west and from McGovern Park area travels south. There is an exit along 40th Street, which is the eastern boundary of the Park;
   
   
3. Route 57: From Timmerman Field area on the NW side south the Park and from downtown Milwaukee along Walnut street to Lisbon Avenue and 41st Street;
   
   
4. Route 35: goes north and south along 35th Street, exit at 35th and Vliet Street and you are just 5 blocks from the Park.
