Grassroots North Shore is pleased to endorse Sara Geenen, who is a partner Previant Law Firm, where she has practiced labor, employment, and bankruptcy law for 16 years. She is supported by unions, teachers, Wisconsin Laborers' District Council, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin, and many more groups interested in positive change in Wisconsin.

As a board member of EmpowHER, she has encouraged and promoted women in the construction industry. As a board member of group One Wisconsin Now, she worked to ensure fair courts, address gerrymandering, and to expand access to voting. She has also served on the Board of 9 to 5 National Association of Working Women, and has been active with the State Bar of Wisconsin's Labor & Employment Law section board, serving a term as the Chair in 2019.
