 Jon Peacock, who is the director of the Wisconsin Budget Project, will talk briefly about the mixed success of the federal "war
on poverty," and how it is being undercut by growing inequality.  He will explain how that inequality has been exacerbated by recent tax policy decisions in Wisconsin and could be worsened significantly by new tax proposals.
