This Saturday marks the anniversary of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. It was an event that brought us together as a nation, as we mourned for the 20 children and six adults who lost their lives that day.  That's why communities across the country are coming together again, on the one-year anniversary of this tragedy, to remember and send a message that we stand with Newtown families.

Even if you can't make an event, you can still show your support for Newtown on Saturday. Many of us on Facebook are changing our hometowns to "Newtown, Connecticut" as a simple way to honor the lives lost a year ago. To join in, head over to Facebook today  and follow these three easy steps: 1. Go to your personal Facebook profile page, and click the button at the top that says "Update Info." 2. Under "Places Lived," if you don't have a hometown, click "Add Your Hometown." If you already have a hometown, click "Edit" next to it. 3. Enter "Newtown, Connecticut," and click "Save Changes."
