I Pledge to Vote

What's at stake?

1. The Wisconsin Supreme Court!  Judge Kloppenburg, can oust Rebecca Bradley — Governor Walker's choice — from her brief tenure on the Court.

2. The Milwaukee County Executive! Vote for Chris Larson on February 16. Show the strength of Larson's support throughout the county.

3. And of course the presidential preference primary. Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders will both be on the ballot and Wisconsin's delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia will be apportioned according to how many votes each of them receives.

I'm taking my son, who just turned 18, for his ID so he can vote for the first time. I'm also encouraging my 20 year old son to vote.

Voting is not just a right, it is a responsibility. All politics is local so the local elections are just as important as state and federal. Voting is also not just a choice between D or R. We need to know what the candidates stand for and will work for. In other words, voting is hard work. Staying home and not voting casts a vote for the winner whether you like them or not.
